"Surf, is a short film of three events. A groom that chases away birds in a park that hinder the couple from having their wedding photograph taken. A photographer takes pictures of a woman sitting posed on the beach feeding a flock of seagulls that swoop around her and a woman further along the beach jumping through the surf of the oncoming waves. Bringing together these unrelated events; seen in a single day, jostles with notions of ceremony, composure in relation to the cameras."
