An attempt to portray ... the camera is focused on the instable facial expressions of a girl, immersed in darkness. The face refl ects different textures, sustains interferences, shocks, heartbreaks, dislocations ... submitted, thus, to our questioning and to our attacks. Uncertain and fragile, doubting the aptitude to seize upon any reality, the images decompose the body into unreadable signs, reducing its presence into convulsive
pulsations... Made with "non-professional" equipment, this
"low tech" video experiment is connected to the relationship between digital video images and memory processes. As such it also puts into question the substance of these images, the traces of time, the processes of imagination.
