Whistlers and Informations
2:40 | 2006
Whistlers are sounds that exist through a flash of lightning where electric energy flows through the gas (Plasma) situated above our atmosphere. They glide on the magnet field and can be especially well detected in the south and north poles. Spacecrafts record these wave forms and send them to the Earth.
The video is a simulation of what a spacecraft can record when it arrives to its destination. In the beginning the image is full of parasites and it only becomes clear during the last sequence. Like a revelation of the place without ever discovering the “incorrectness” of this fictitious reality.
